Juan Argento

Juan Argento is the Managing Partner of Horizon Partners and sits on the Board of Tostao, Colombia’s largest chain of cafes and was a former member of the Board of Canacol Energy, Colombia’s second largest producer of natural gas.

Prior to Horizon, Juan Argento was a Managing Director at Millennium Global, a London-based $13 billion hedge fund group, and head of the Milan office at Rubikon Partners, a private equity firm focused on the European mid-market chaired by Dr. Henry Kissinger. Before that, Juan was an early recruit of Texas Pacific Group, working for their Newbridge Latin America fund. He started his professional career at Salomon Brothers in New York.

He holds a B.S. in Economics cum laude from Harvard University and is trilingual in English, Italian and Spanish.
