Dr. Pablo Fetter, PhD

Senior advisor

During his career Dr Fetter has run private equity at Mumtalakat, Bahrain's $8B sovereign wealth fund, as well as the growth and venture capital operations of Istithmar (Dubai) and Neuhaus Partners (Germany). He was instrumental in building a $250M partnership with the world’s largest development-oriented fund in Africa, has been a member of 14 Boards of Directors and CEO of three companies.

Previously, Pablo had a successful business-development career with Telecom Denmark, Daimler, EADS/Airbus and Mercedes Benz. He contributed to the development and market introduction of the first speech recognition system for the car environment in the Mercedes Benz S-Class back in 1996. The further development of this product (“Linguatronic”) is still commercially available across the Mercedes Benz line of cars.

Dr Fetter has a Ph.D. from the Berlin Technical University, Germany, an Electrical Engineering Degree from Cordoba National University in Argentina and has completed various executive training programs in business and economics. Pablo resided and worked in seven countries in Europe, South America, Asia and Middle East, and is proficient in four languages.
