Tony Llaya

Principal advisor

Tony Llaya is a seasoned investment professional with both Private Equity and Investment Banking experience in Europe, the US and South America. From 2005 to 2012, he was a Direct Investment Professional with HarbourVest in London and in Boston, where he worked together closely with Claudio Siniscalco on dozens of Buyout and Growth Equity co-investments, as well as a number of Mezzanine investments.

Since 2012, Tony has been based in South America, where he has worked on several Private Equity transactions, both as advisor as a well as co-investor, with industry leaders such as Victoria Capital Partners, Colony LatAm Partners and Mesoamerica. His Investment Banking experience includes positions as a Director with Banchile Citi (a Citigroup subsidiary), as well as with Deutsche Bank earlier in his career.

Tony holds a BSc in Economics from the National University of Cordoba, as well as an MSc Management from the London School of Economics. He has also completed a Sr. Executive Degree from the Chicago Booth School of Business.
