WEST Youth Zone is part of OnSide, a UK national charity with 14 Youth Zones across the country, and several more under development. WEST - currently under construction in White City (less than 4 miles from FCP) - is due to open in late 2023 and will offer state-of-the art sport, music, art, drama, computing and dining facilities to thousands of young people in its catchment area who have nowhere else to go after school. The name was chosen by young people and stands for “Where Everyone Sticks Together”.
A public:private partnership with the local council, each Youth Zone is a highly customized, purpose-built facility, with over 20 activities to try each session, staffed by skilled youth workers who believe in young people and help them see what they could achieve.
PARTNERSHIP WITH FCP
FCP’s partners have pledged to contribute a significant share of carried interest in every co-investment deal in which they participate to WEST Youth Zone via an unrestricted grant.
